Amendment to Notification No. 275/87-Cus. [ Ch. 29] Notification No. 146/88-Cus. Dated 27-4-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby make the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 275/87-Custom dated the 8th July, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening paragraph, for the figures and words "20% ad valorem plus Rs. 1700 per tonne.", the figures and words "25% ad valorem plus Rs. 1700 per tonne." shall be substituted; and (ii) paragraph 2 shall be omitted.
