Amendment to Notification No. 65/88-Cus. [ Ch. 84] Notification No. 143/88-Cus. Dated 27-4-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 65/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for item (B) and the entries relating thereto the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely :- "(B) OPHTHALMIC EQUIPMENTS : 1. Projection magnifier for contact lens inspection and verification. 2. Radiuscope base curve (for measurement of contact lenses). 3. Contact lens thickness measuring guage. 4. Stereozoom microscope for inspection of contact lenses. 5. Softometer for measurement of the base curve of soft contact lenses. 6. Contact lens lathes. 7. Contact lens polishing machines. 8. Ophthalmic operating lights and fibre optic lights. 9. Exophthalmometer. 10. Ophthalmo dynamometer. 11. Corneal Anesthesiometer. 12. Dark Adaptometer. 13. Glare testing equipment. 14. Pantoscope. 15. Cryo-lathe. 16. Ophthalmic cryo equipments. 17. CAM stimulator. 18. Argon/Krypton Laser. 19. Yag Laser. 20. Surgical Operating Zoom Microscope with close circuit T.V. Camera. 21. Photo-slit lamp for interior chamber photography. 22. Roper Hall Foreign Body Locator.
