Amendment to Notification No. 127/82-Cus. [G.E. No. 168] Notification No. 127/88-Cus. Dated 30-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 127/82-Cus., dated the 1st May, 1982, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening paragraph after the words "foreign oil company" the words "or under a contract entered into by the Government of India, the Oil India Limited and a Foreign Oil Company" shall be inserted. (ii) in the table annexed, (a) for Sl. No. 5 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be substituted namely :- "5. Equipment for specialised services like diving and cementation, logging, casing repairs, production testing, stimulation and mud services in Oil/Gas wells." (b) in Col. 2 against Sl. No. 9 for the brackets and words "(Project Titan)" the brackets and words "(Telemetery, Telecommunication and Tele control systems)" shall be substituted. (iii) in Paragraph 2 for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1988" the figures, letters and words "30th day of September, 1988" shall be substituted.
