Amendment to Notification Nos. 254/84-Cus., 75/85-Cus., 350/85-Cus. and 351/85-Cus. - 053/88 - Customs -TariffExtract Amendment to Notification Nos. 254/84-Cus., 75/85-Cus., 350/85-Cus. and 351/85-Cus. Notification No. 53/88-Cus. Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 254/84-Customs, dated the 8th October, 1984. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 16 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "17. Auto bulb assemblies. 18. Fan Motors. 19. Macpherson struts" 2. 75/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 17 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "18. Auto bulb assemblies. 19. Fan Motors. 20. Macpherson struts." 3. 350/85-Customs, dated the 5th December, 1985. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 17 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "18. Auto bulb assemblies. 19. Fan Motors. 20. Macpherson struts.". 4. 351/85-Customs, dated the 5th December, 1985. In the said notification, - (i) in the opening paragraph, in clause (a), for the, figures and words "25 per cent ad valorem ", the figures and words "10 per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted;` (ii) in the Table, - (a) S. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted; (b) after S. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Auto bulb assemblies. 13. Reed valve assemblies. 14. Front forks.".
