Amendment to Notification No. 33/86-Cus. - Removal of certain restrictions on import of commercial samples Notification No. 36/88-Cus. Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 33/86-Customs, dated the 7th February, 1986, namely: - In the said notification, - (a) in the opening paragraph, the words "by manufacturers of export goods" shall be omitted; (b) the word "and" occuring at the end of condition (i) shall be omitted and after condition No. (ii), the following condition shall be inserted, namely :- "(iii) that the said samples or prototypes, are supplied free of charge".
