Appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra [To be published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii)] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 130/2009-Customs (N.T.) New Delhi , dated the 28th August, 2009 . 6 Bhadrapada, 1931 Saka. S.O. 2203(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:- (i) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai; and (ii) the Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Balaji Temple, Kandla; and (iii) the Commissioner of Cutoms (ICDs), ICD, Tughlakabad, New Delhi for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Sunland Metal Recycling Industries Limited, Survey no. 89/1/2, Karanjagam, Silvassa (Dadra and Nagar Haveli) and others, issued vide, F.No. DRI /SRU/INV-5/2006, dated 07th May, 2007, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
