Amends Notification No. 343/87-Cus. - Aluminium Ingots [ Ch. 76] Notification No. 5/88-Cus. Dated 15-1-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 343/87-Customs, dated 27th October, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, for the letters and figures "Rs. 2000", the words "rupees one thousand", shall be substituted.
