Exemption to computer Notification No. 72/87-Cus. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Reve nue) No. 68/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :- In the said notification, for clauses (i), (ii) and (iii), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely :- (i) with Central Processing Unit of a speed of ten million instructions per second or more; and (ii) with disc capacity of four giga bytes or more; and (iii) with main memory of thirty-two mega bytes or more.
