Components of fuel-efficient motor cars Notification No. 472/86-Cus. Dated 27-11-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 254/84-Customs, dated the 8th October, 1984, namely:- In the said notification, - (A) in the opening paragraph, after the words "fuel-efficient motor cars", the words and figures "of engine capacity not exceeding 1000 cubic centimetres" shall be inserted; (b) in the Explanation, - (a) clauses (ii) and (iii) shall be omitted; (b) in clause (a), sub-clauses (ii) and (iii) shall be omitted.
