Amends Notification Nos. 341/76 and 83/86 Notification No. 426/86-Cus. Dated 9-9-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Banking) or in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), as the case may be, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended or amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 341-Customs, dated 2nd August, 1976 In the Table to the said notification, against S. No. 118, in column (3), for the figures "76.08", the figures and word "76.04 or 76.08" shall be substituted. 2. 83-Customs, dated 17th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 9, for the entry in column (2), the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- "76.04 76.08"
