Amends 4 existing notifications Notification No. 306/86-Cus. Dated 1-5-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE S. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 208/81-Customs, dated the 22nd September, 1981. In the Schedule to the said notification, under the heading "B. Life saving equipments",— (a) Sl. No. 38 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) in Sl. No. 41, for the words "double human", the words "double Lumen" shall be substituted; (c) in Sl. No. 42, for the words "blood vessels", the words "blood vessels and cannula for intra corporal speces," shall be substituted. 2. 80/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985. In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (a) Sl. Nos. 1, 6, 20, 48, 69, 84 and 108 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) for Sl. Nos. 11, 14, 15, 16, 26, 28, 29, 35, 39, 43, 44, 46, 50, 56, 89, 91, 92, 93, 95, 96, 99, 100, 109, 110 and 111 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall, respectively, be substituted, namely :— "11. Blood Gas Analysor, including Microprocessor based system."; "14. Biological valves.". 3. 133/85-Customs, dated the 19th April, 1985. In the said notification, the following Explanation shall be inserted at the end, namely :— "Explanation :— For the purpose of this notification, the expression "power projects (including gas turbine power projects)" shall mean such projects whose output or end product is power, but shall not include captive power plants set up by units engaged in activities other than power generation.". 4. 162/86 Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 11, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— "Insulators designed for use in electrical circuits of 400 Volts and above.".
