Goods falling under Chapter 39 Notification No. 261/86-Cus. Dated 24-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 150-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) "3. Polyvinyl Chloride,— (i) Paste grade resin or battery grade resin. Rs. 15,000 per tonne. (ii) Others. Rs. 10,500 per tonne.".
