Amendment to 3 existing Notifications Notification No. 209/86-Cus. Dated 13-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-clause (4) of clause 49 of the Finance Bill, 1986, which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made in the said Finance Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931), the force of law, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 187-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 48, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— "Automatic film processor for use in the printing industry.". 2. 189-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (a) Sl. No. 12 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) against Sl. No. 15, in column (3), the words, "but excluding power cranes" shall be omitted; and (c) after Sl. No. 26 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) "26A 90 Machines and apparatus used in cinematographic laboratories, namely, film printing machines, film cleaning machines, cinematographic reducers and enlargers and blooping punch for sound splicing. 26B. 90 Cinematographic machines, equipments and apparatus, namely, film editing machines, re-recording, scoring and dubbing equipment and sound mixing units.". 3. 190-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the Schedule to the said notification, Sl. Nos. 31, 37, 52 and 63 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
