Machine tools Notification No. 182/86-Cus., Dated 1-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts the goods specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed and falling under heading Nos. 84.56, 84.57, 84.58, 84.59, 84.60, 84.61, 84.62, 84.63, 84.64 and 84.65 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) when imported into India, from the whole of the additional duty of customs leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act, 1975. Metal Cutting Band Sawing Machines, all types excluding Horizontal Band Saws for Alloy Steel with Cutting Speed 120 metres/min. and above. 15. Abrasive Wheel Cut off Machines. 16. Double Ended Polishing Machines. 17. Lapping Machines, Horizontal Flat Surface Type. 18. Horizontal/Vertical Internal Broaching Machines up to 10 tonnes capacity, excluding Helical Broaching Machines and Continuous Chain Type Horizontal Broaching Machines. 19. Guillotine Sheering Machines upto 13 mm Plate Thickness and 3 metres length of cut. 20. Mechanical Presses upto 100 tonnes capacity. 21. Hydraulic Presses excluding Hydraulic Extrusion Presses upto 100 tonnes capacity. 22. Nibbling Machines upto 8 mm thickness. 23. Impact Extrusion Presses for manufacture of collapsible Tubes. 24. Tin Can making Machinery, namely, — (a) Seaming Machines. (b) Forming and Body Making Machines. (c) Screening and Curling Machines. (d) Beading and Swaging Machines. 25.
