Life saving equipments Notification No. 174/86-Cus. Dated 1-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 208/81, dated the 22nd September, 1981, namely :— In the Schedule to the said notification, under the heading "B. Life saving equipments", after item No. 37 and the entry relating thereto, the following item Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— "38. E.T. Tube of plain Red Rubber, Cuffed Red Rubber, PVC Cuffed and high pressure low volume, PVC Cuffed and low pressure normal volume, and PVC plain. 39. Tracheostomy Tube of plain PVC, Low Pressure PVC, Red Rubber Plain, and Red Rubber Cuffed. 40. Epidural Catheters. 41. Various types of Cardiac Catheters including baloon tipped, double human and thermodilution catheters and PTCA catheters. 42. Disposable and non-disposable canula for Aorta Venae cavae and similar veins and blood vessels."
