Amendment in the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998 5 th June, 2003 Notification No. 38/2003 - Customs (N.T.) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998, namely:- 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Amendment Regulations, 2003. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998, in regulation 2, in sub-regulation (2), in clause (a), for the words “Jaipur and land custom stations other than at Gojadanga and Petrapole in West Bengal” the words “Jaipur, Trivandrum and land custom stations other than at Gojadanga and Petrapole in West Bengal,” shall be substituted. (N.T.), dated the 14 th March, 2001, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, sub-section (i), dated the 14 th March, 2001 under G.S.R. 184 (E) dated the 14 th March, 2001.
