Floor price for import of tyres fixed Notification No. 11/1997 Dated 08/08/1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 4.1 of Export and Import policy, 1997-2002, in the Central Government hereby notifies the following amendments in the "ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997-2002", namely:- The policy indicated against the following Sub-Exim under Code 40.12 shall be amended to read as under:- EXIM Code Item Description Policy Condition relating to the Policy Import under SIL / Public Notice 40121000.10 For buses, lorries and earth moving equipment including bigger size vehicles and light Commercial vehicles Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf Import permitted freely if the per tyre c.i.f value is US $175 and above 40121000.20 For passenger automobile vehicles, including two wheelers, three wheelers and personal type vehicles Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a public Notice issued in this behalf Import permitted freely if the per Tyre cif value is US $ 25 and above 40122000.10 For buses, lorries and earth moving equipment including bigger size vehicles and light Commercial vehicles Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf. Import permitted freely if the per tyre c.i.f. value is US $ 175 and above. 40122000.20 For passenger automobile vehicles including two wheelers, three wheelers and Personal type vehicles Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf. Import permitted freely if the per tyre c.i.f. value is US $ 25 and above. There shall be no change in the import policy indicated against other sub-Exim Codes. 2. This issues in public interest.
