Notification Number: 1182 05-09-1979 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22B of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957 (27 of 1957), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No. G.S.R. 309(E), dated the 30th April, 1976, the Central Government hereby- (i) constitutes the Wealth-tax Settlement Commission; (ii) appoints Shri Surendra Narain as Chairman thereof; and (iii) requires Sarvashri H.D.
