Notification Number: 0464 Dated 10-05-1982 In pursuance of clause (xv) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Gift-tax Act, 1958 (18 of 1958), the Central Government hereby directs that gift-tax shall not be charged under the said Act in respect of gifts made by any person, to any person in-charge of the Bhoodan Movement, recognised by the Andhra Pradesh Bhoodan and Gramdan Act (Act No. 13) of 1965 or the rules, regulations or orders made thereunder.
