Exemption to delegates attending third International Conference of Appellate Judges and Commonwealth Chief Justices Notification Number: 088 Dated 01-03-1984 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts delegates coming to attend the Third International Conference of Appellate Judges and Commonwealth Chief Justices to be held in New Delhi from the 5th March, 1984, to the 10th March, 1984, from the payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the said Conference. 2.
