Appointment of common adjudicating authority of Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Goa Now Delhi, the 23rd December, 2009 NOTIFICATION No.184/2009-Customs (N.T.) S.O. 3274(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of Section 4 and sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of I 962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, and Central Excise, Goa to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,-- (i) the Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva; Raigad, Maharashtra; (ii) the Commissioner of Customs, Kandla; and (iii) the Commissioner of Customs (Export), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai for the purpose of adjudication the matters relating to Show Cause Notices pertaining to M/s. Grand Organics, Goa and Others issued vide F. No. DRI/MZU/GRU/Inv- 01/09, dated the 24th August, 2009, by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit Mumbai.
