Rescinded vide Notification S.O. 663(E) - SEZ - Dated 13-02-2018 To set up a sector Specific Special Economic Zone for Agro Processing Industry sector at Latur Industrial Area, District Latur - Maharashtra MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 3rd February, 2010 S.O. 253(E) - Whereas. M/s Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, a state Government body in the State of Maharashtra, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ), to set up a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone for Agro Processing Industry sector at Latur Industrial Area. District Latur in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , had notified an area of 200 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 39(E), dated 15th January, 2007 ; And whereas, M/s. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation has now proposed for de-notification of 61 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 6th January, 2009; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de notifies an area of 61 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 139 hectares, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE Serial No. Name of the Village Survey Number Hissa Number Area originally Notified (in hectares) Area to be de-notified (in hectares) New Area of the SEZ (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) 1.
