Prescribed authority for endorsing forms of transfer of shares in pursuance of section 108(1A) - SO 725(E), - Companies Law

Notification : No. SO 725(E), dated 29-4 1992. Subject:- Prescribed authority for endorsing forms of transfer of shares in pursuance of section 108(1A) S.O. 725(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub‑section (1A) of section 108 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), read with sub‑rule (1) of rule 5A of the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, the Central Government hereby appoints the persons mentioned in column 2 of the Table below, being already in service of the Government as prescribed authorities for the purpose of clause ( a ) of the said sub-section, who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed by or under the said clause within the local limits of their respective jurisdiction as specified in column 3 of the Table below : TABLE Sl.
