NOTIFICATION NO. GSR 727(E), DATED 18-9-2000, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Amendments in GSR 94(E) dated 26 Feb. 1997 G.S.R. 727(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) and in supersession of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) Notification Number GSR 94(E), dated 26th February, 1997, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorises the following officers of the Securities and Exchange Board of India established under the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) for the purposes of that sub-section in respect of offences punishable under sub-section (3) of sections 56, sub-section (1) of section 59, section 63, section 68, sub-section (2) and (2B) of section 73, sub-section (2) of section 113 and section 207 of that Act : Name of the Officers 1.
