Amendment in the notification No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i) DATED THE 1ST MARCH, 2007] 10 PHALGUNA, 1928 (SAKA) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) New Delhi, the 1st March, 2007 10 Phalguna, 1928 (SAKA) NOTIFICATION No.23/2007-CUSTOMS G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E), of the same date, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, after S.No. 62 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely:- S.No. Chapter, heading, subheading or tariff item of the First Schedule Description of goods Standard rate (1) (2) (3) (4) 63. 1507 to 1515 Edible grade vegetable oils and their edible grade fractions Nil 64. 2613 10 00 All goods Nil [F.No.334/1/2007-TRU] (S. Bajaj) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note : The principal notification No.20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E), dated the 1st March, 2006 and was subsequently amended vide notification No.16/2007-Customs, dated the 21st February, 2007 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.98 (E), dated the 21st February, 2007.
