ITC-HS Classification - New Exim Codes introduced Notification No.06/(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 31-03-2001 ITC-HS Classification - New Exim Codes introduced S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 published on 31 st March, 1997 (RE-98) as amended from time to time, namely - 2. Following new entries will be inserted at the end of appropriate exim code: Items description Policy Conditions relating to the policy Import under SIL/Public Notice 262030 04 Copper dross containing copper greater than 65% and lead and cadmium equal to or less than 1.25% and 0.1% respectively Free Import permitted to units registered with Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India 262030 05 Spent cleaned metal catalyst containing copper Free Import permitted to units registered with Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India 262090 01 Spent cleaned metal catalyst containing zinc Free Import permitted to units registered with Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India 262090 02 Spent cleaned metal catalyst containing nickel Free Import permitted to units registered with Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India 262090 09 Other Restricted Import permitted against a licence and only for the purpose of processing or reuse as per Import Licensing Note 1, on Hazardous Waste below 740400 01.30 Copper scrap namely the following: a. Copper wire covered under ISRI code "Druid" b. Jelly filled copper cables Free Import permitted to units registered with Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India 3.
