Extension in date of shipment for the export of Onion TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II SECTION 3 , SUB-SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION No. 36 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI, the 19th October, 2001 S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraphs 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002(incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31 August, 1998) and as amended from time to time:- 2. In respect of Notification No.32(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 12 th October,2001, extending the shipment period for export of onions released vide Notification No. 16(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 26 th June,2001 and Notification No. 20( RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 27 th July, 2001 upto 15 th October,2001, it has been decided to further extend the shipment period for export of the unutilized balance quantity of the onion, if any, out of the 1,00,000 Metric tones released for export vide Notification No.16(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 26 th June,2001 and Notification No. 20( RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 27 th July, 2001 upto 31st October, 2001. 3.
