Export of low silica - Amendment regarding TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II SECTION 3, SUB SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 47 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI , the 12 TH February, 2002 S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraphs 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), The Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998 ) and as amended from time to time:- 2. Code No.2610 of Schedule 2 Table B of the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 may be amended to include following new entry after 2610(c): Code Item Description Policy Nature of Restriction 2610 (d) Low Silica friable/fine Chromite ore with Cr 2 O 3 in the range of 52-54% and Silica exceeding 4% State Trading Enterprises(s) Export through MMTC Limited. 2.
