EOUs/EPZ Units DTA Sale should be of same/similar product exported Notification No. 29/98-CE Dated 8-9-98 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.2/95-CE, dated the 4th January, 1995, namely:- In the said notification, in the third provision, in clause (i) for sub-clause (a), the following sub clause shall be substituted, namely:- (a) such goods being cleared for home consumption are similar to the goods which are exported or expected to be exported from the unit during the specified period of such clearances in terms of the Export Import Policy, 1st April, 1997- 31st March, 2002.
