All Goods Falling Under Tariff Item 68 Notification No. 243/85-C.E. Dated 3-12-1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts all goods, falling under Item No. 68 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and manufactured by M/s. National Instruments Limited, Calcutta, and supplied by them to the Ministry of Defence for official use, from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Act.
