Stainless steel coin blanks - Excise Duty exemption Withdrawn. 8% duty on parts of goods in list 8 of Notification 5/98-CE Notification No. 32/98-CE Dated 21-9-98 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue), No. 5/98-Central Excise, dated the 2nd June, 1998, namely :- In the said notification , - (a) in the Table serial number 196 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; and- (b) in List 8 appended thereto, after item (28), the following shall be added, namely:- (29) Parts of the goods specified in this list.
