Amends Notification No. 4/2006-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2006 (Effective Rate of Duty on goods of Chapter 26 to Chapter 48) [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) New Delhi, the 9 th October, 2007 Notification No. 36 /2007-Central Excise G.S.R. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 4/2006-Central Excise, dated the 1 st March, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 94(E), dated the 1 st March, 2006, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, - (i) after S.No. 51 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.No. and entries shall be inserted, namely: - (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) " 51A. 2833 29 Agricultural grade zinc sulphate ordinarily used as micronutrient Nil -''; F.No.332/26/2007-TRU (S.Bajaj) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note: - The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.94(E), dated the 1st March, 2006, and was last amended by notification No. 34/2007-Central Excise, dated the 2 nd August, 2007 and published vide number G.S.R. 531(E), dated the 2 nd August, 2007
