Amends notification no. 30/2005 dated 10-8-2005 - Adjudication Power under section 83A [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 16/2008 - Service Tax New Delhi, the 11 th March, 2008 21 Phalguna, 1929 (Saka) G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 83A of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.30/2005-Service Tax, dated 10 th August, 2005 , published vide No. G.S.R. 527(E), dated the 10 th August, 2005, namely:- In the said notification in the Table, against S.No. 2, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Above Rs.5 lakhs but not exceeding Rs.50 lakhs" shall be inserted.
