Constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for Special Economic Zone for information technology or information technology enabled services or Business Process Outsourcing sector at Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kanchipuram District in the State of Tamil Nadu - S.O. 744(E).- - Special Economic Zone

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th March, 2008 S.O. 744(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), the Central Government hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for Special Economic Zone for information technology or information technology enabled services or Business Process Outsourcing sector at Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kanchipuram District in the State of Tamil Nadu developed by M/s. Chennai Business Park Private Limited for the purposes of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely : Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone Chairperson, Ex-Officio Director or Deputy Secretary to Member, Ex-Officio the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India Zonal Joint Director General of Member, Ex-Officio Foreign Trade, Chennai Commissioner of Customs or Central Member, Ex-Officio Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner Commissioner of Income Tax having Member, Ex-Officio territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner Director (Banking) in the Ministry of Member, Ex-Officio Finance, Banking Division, Government of India Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Member, Ex-Officio Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau; Government of Tamil Nadu Secretary (Industries), Government Member, Ex-Officio Of Tamil Nadu Representative of M/s.
