Goods containing 10% betelnut but not containing tobacco - No Tariff Value Fixed

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.16/98- Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 2nd June, 1998, namely:-
In the said notification, after the Table and before the Explanation, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
This notification shall not be applicable to goods containing not more than 10% betel nut by weight and not containing tobacco in any proportion.
