Central Government notifies schemes mentioned below u/s 80L NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.2879 DATED 1-9-1970 In pursuance of clause ( iii ) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), [as substituted by section 14 of the Finance Act, 1970], the Central Government hereby notifies the following schemes as schemes to which the said clause shall apply, namely :---- ( a ) The scheme of Post Office (Time Deposits) governed by the Post Office (Time Deposits) Rules, 1970. ( b ) The scheme of Post Office (Recurring Deposits) governed by the Post Office (Recurring Deposits) Rules, 1970. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1971
