Scientific research programme has been approved for the period specified below for the purposes of sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 NOTIFICATION NO. 1234 DATED 17-2-1976 It is hereby notified for general information that the following scientific research programme has been approved for the period specified below for the purposes of sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, by the prescribed authority, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi : Scientific Research Programme Research Project on Tree Improvement with reference to the needs of pulping industries in Tamil Nadu. Sponsored ( a ) by The Seshasayee Paper Board Ltd., Salem., P.O., Dist. Erode. Sponsored ( b ) at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Duration of Research Programme 1976-85. Estimated expenditure Rs. 11,21,600 (for full period) Rs. 1,90,370 (for 1976). Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, where the above programme has been sponsored has been approved under section 35(1)( ii ) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, vide Ministry of Finance Notification No. 878 (F.
