S.O.1282 DATED 24-2-1977 It is hereby notified for general information that the following scientific research programme has been approved for the period specified below for the purposes of sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, by the prescribed authority, Secretary, Department of Science Technology, New Delhi : Scientific Research Programme : Pilot Plant work on : ( i ) Propylene Oxide from propylene ( ii ) Acrylates from Acrylonitrile Sponsored ( a ) by M/s. Indian Petro-Chemical Corporation Ltd., Jawahar Nagar, Dist. Baroda Sponsored ( b ) at National Chemical Laboratory, Poona Duration of Programme ( i ) 1-4-1974 to 31-3-1976 ( ii ) 1-4-1974 to 31-3-1977 Cost of Project ( i ) Rs. 2,34,500 ( ii ) Rs. 5,66,000. The National Chemical Laboratory, Poona, is a laboratory of the Council of Scientific Industrial Research which has been approved under section 10(2)( xiii ) of the Income-tax Act, 1922, vide notification No. 34 dated 23rd November, 1946.
