Global crude oil price of Indian Basket rebounds to 106.40 US$ /bbl on 12.12.2012 |

Press Information Bureau Government of India Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas 13-December-2012 16:30 IST The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas rose sharply to US$ 106.40/barrel (bbl) on 12.12.2012. This was higher than to US$ 105.29/bbl on the previous trading day’s figures of 11.12.2012. In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5774.33/bbl on 12.12.2012 from Rs 5719.35/bbl on 11.12.2012. This was due to price increase in dollar terms. Rupee dollar-exchange rate on 12.12.2012 was Rs 54.27/US$ against Rs 54.32/US$ on previous trading day of 11.12.2012. The table below gives details in this regard:
