Boa for SEZ recommends grant of 23 formal and 6 in-principle approvals

The Board of Approval of the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) met here today to consider proposals for setting up of Special Economic Zones and also to approve other miscellaneous requests pertaining to SEZs. A total of  34 proposals for setting up of SEZs, including 3 proposals for conversion of in-principle approvals in to formal approvals were considered   The Board recommended grant of 23 Formal approvals and 6 In-Principle Approvals.

Ø  2 IT/ITES/Electronic Hardware SEZs in Andhra Pradesh by M/s Godrej Real Estate Private Limited and M/s S2tech.com Private Limited

Ø  2 Biotechnology SEZs in Andhra Pradesh by M/s Lahari Infrastructure Limited and M/s Biological E. Limited

Ø  Light Engineering SEZ in Andhra Pradesh by M/s Deccan Infrastructure and Land Holdings Limited

Ø  2 IT/ITES SEZs in Gujarat by M/s  Strength Real Estate Private Limited and M/s Gaurinandan Property Holders Pvt. Ltd.  

Ø  Textile SEZ  in Gujarat by M/s Pradip Overseas Limited

Ø  Non-conventional energy including solar energy equipment/cell SEZ in Gujarat by M/s Euro Multivision Ltd.

Ø  3 Electronic Hardware/IT/ITES SEZs in Karnataka by M/s Opto Infrastructure Limited, M/s Hebe Infracon Private Limited and M/s Concord India Private Limited

Ø  2 IT/ITES/Electronic Hardware and Software SEZs in Maharashtra by M/s Indo Global Info City Private Limited and M/s Benchmark Realty Private Limited

Ø  IT/ITES SEZ in Punjab by M/s ATS Estates (P) Limited

Ø  IT/ITES SEZ in Tamil Nadu by M/s DSRK Holding (Chennai) Private Limited

Ø  2 IT/ITES SEZs in Uttar Pradesh by M/s CBS International Projects Private Limited and M/s Golden Tower Infratech Pvt. Ltd.

Conversion of In Principle  approval to Formal approval for:

Ø  Engineering SEZ in Tamil Nadu by M/s Township Developers India Private Limited

            In Principle  approvals:

Ø  Multi product SEZ in Madhya Pradesh by M/s Reliable Smart City Private Limited

Ø  Multi Services SEZ in Rajasthan by M/s P S Jaipur SEZ Developers Pvt. Ltd

Ø  Airport/Aviation sector (including MRO) SEZ in Tamil Nadu by M/s Taneja Aerospace and Aviation Limited

Ø  Free Trade Warehousing Zone SEZ in Tamil Nadu by M/s Vikram Logistics and Maritime Services Private Limited

Ø  Multi Services SEZs in Maharashtra by M/s Singrun Megaprojects Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Sigrun Megastructure Private Limited 

Formal approval was also granted for setting up of Multi Product SEZ in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu over an area of 1020 hectares by M/s AMRL International Tech City Limited, a joint venture company of TIDCO.
