Hi, We are manufacturing in Gujarat, but we are planning a warehouse in Pune City for local supply. Do we need to register warehouse in Gujarat or Maharashtra Vat department. From where can we raise CST invoice. how to transfer goods to Maharashtra warehouse with form 402. Do we need a CST registration of Maharashtra. Please guide... Thank you, Anil Posts / Replies Showing Replies 1 to 4 of 4 Records Page: 1
As per the query i understood that you are already a registered dealer in Gujarat. now you are planning to have a warehouse in state of Maharastra. Here, my view is you should get registered in the state of Maharastra as you are planning to move the stock and store in the territory of Maharastra. in Maharastra so far there is no procedure of moving stock along with way-bill. (recently dept initiated the procedure but on halt for the time being). but, Waybill system is there in state of Gujarat, you should move the stock out of Gujarat only with Waybill if it is taxable stock. As far as registration is concerned, there is no situation of taking only CST registration, you need to take both VAT and CST registrations.
Dear Sir, Thank you for your advice and prompt reply, i'm really obliged with your kind favor. As I mentioned We are a manufacturing firm registered in Gujarat. We are planning to move or stock to Maharashtra. There is no Waybill required to move stock to Maharashtra, but we require form 402 to move stock out of Gujarat. >To Register in Maharashtra in VAT & CST means, do we have to start new firm in Maharashtra? >If we register same firm in Maharashtra how to move stock with waybill 402. >Then we have to bear the CST and invoice in VAT (which is 5% on our product.). >If we purchase goods from other state and Sell goods to other state, do we get any rebate on CST? once again thank you, for your help.
there is no absolute necessity to register a new firm in Maharastra. Probably you can a branch in MAHA and can get registered. Once registered, stock can be moved as stock transfer from HO to Branch through "Stock Transfer Note". later local sale can be made out of stock received in MAHA. if it is a taxable stock, then Form-F need to be given to your HO at Gujarat. so there is no neessity of bearing CST. Input of VAT can be set off against Output VAT or Output CST. but there is no concept of input CST setting off aganinst output VAT or CST.
Thank you Mr. RAMA KRISHNA it was really helpful. Regards, Anil Simejiya Page: 1 Old Query - New Comments are closed. |
