EXPORT TO NEPAL

  • Contents

We are a merchant exporter dealing in minerals with Nepal. Since our product has no excise, It was simple in previous regeim.

Now please advice me how to prepare export invoice. Shall I need to give LUT/BOND to custom/excise department

or I can export by charging 5 % IGST & getting its credit by submitting shipping bills & bill of lading to authority.

1. You can export after getting bond. You may not Gert lut as the conditions prescribed may not be satisfied by you.the export with the filing of bond will not attract any igst.

2. You can export after payment of igst and claim refund.

3. Please read the circular issued by board available at cbec.gov.in for LUT/bond

4. The invoice will be issued with the marking as goods for export.

5. Visit any department help desk to get the detail procedure.

Export to Nepal is at par with other countries. This is in addition to reply posted by Sh. Himansu Sekher, an expert.
