Generation of E-Way Bill is require or not in case of imported goods, Customs - Exim - SEZ

Dear sir,

we are manufacturer co. importing goods also in volume.

Is there any requirement to generate E-Way bill for imported goods to clear from customs?

i am bit confuse on that, kindly clarify.

Yes, E way bill is require for Imported Consignment.
