REGARDING NEW DUTY DRAWBACK SCHEME

  • Contents

Dear Sirs,

We are the manufacturer of alloy and stainless steel rough castings. We are availing cenvat credit. We have some doubts regarding new duty drawback scheme launched in place of old DEPB scheme.  Details of my points are given below:

1. What particulars we have to mention on invoice.

2. While making export, how to file shipping bill. [Earlier under DEPB]

3. Where to submit duty draw back claims.

4. Documents required to be submit along with drawback claims.

5. While claiming drawback, can we simulteniously claim export rebate.

6. Is their any other benificial another scheme other then duty drawback.

Please help me by providing above information.

1) Particular as mentioned in the Drawback schedule along with tariff headings will be mentioned on the Invoice.

2) Provide the entry no of items mentioned in the Drawback schedule in the Shipping Bill.

3) Under EDI system no need to file separate Duty Drawback claim.  It will be automatically credited in your Bank account no while generating the S/B. You would have to registered  the Bank account with the customs authority.

4) EP Copy of the Shipping bill will be suffice to claim the Duty Drawback.

5) These two are separate aspects and will be dealt by the Department separately.

6) You can go for Brand rate fixation if the amount is insufficient under All Industry duty drawback scheme.
