Timelines for disposing applications by trusts, funds, or institutions seeking registration for exemption u/s 12AB or approval u/s 80G are rationalized. Applications will be processed within six months from the end of the quarter in which they were received, instead of six months from the end of the month. This applies to provisionally registered/approved entities applying for registration/approval and registered/approved entities applying for further registration/approval.
