Arbitral Tribunal's discretion on cross-examination can't be lightly interfered by courts under Article 227.

The Supreme Court determined that the High Court improperly used its supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227 by allowing the respondent/claimant another chance to cross-examine the appellant/respondent's witness. The Arbitral Tribunal had already provided ample opportunity, with the respondent/claimant cross-examining the witness for over 12 hours. The Supreme Court noted that interference under Articles 226/227 is only justified if the order is entirely unreasonable, which was not the case here. Thus, the appeal was allowed, and the High Court's order was overturned. .....
