The High Court upheld the Revisional Court's decision not to quash the complaint under sections 138 and 141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against the petitioners, who were partners of a firm. The court ruled that while the petitioners were not liable for cheques issued by a partner in a personal capacity, they were correctly accused for cheques issued on behalf of the firm.
