The Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone-II, announced a Mid-year Special Drive (MSD) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House to address bottlenecks in customs clearance processes. The MSD aims to enhance logistics efficiency and minimize delays for exporters, importers, and customs brokers. Additional Commissioners will monitor assessment and examination processes, while officers will coordinate to expedite Bills of Entry processing. Various departments will collaborate to improve cargo clearance and develop monitoring mechanisms in the Faceless assessment environment. Stakeholders are urged to participate actively, and issues can be reported to designated authorities. The Public Notice serves as a directive for Customs House personnel.
