India extends Interest Equalisation Scheme for MSME exporters for 2 months beyond June 30, 2024. Rs. 750 Cr cap. Non-MSME claims not accepted.

The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has extended the Interest Equalisation Scheme (IES) for Pre and Post shipment Rupee Export Credit for two months beyond 30th June, 2024. This extension, applicable to MSME exporters only, is capped at Rs. 750 Cr and maintains the existing terms and conditions. Non-MSME exporters' claims will not be accepted after 30th June, 2024. Relevant RBI guidelines and notifications should be consulted.
