Merchant bankers to upload due diligence records for public issues on online platform for SEBI access.

December 10, 2024

Circulars     SEBI

SEBI mandated merchant bankers to upload and maintain records/documents relied upon during due diligence for public issues on an online Document Repository platform set up by stock exchanges. For draft offer documents filed on or after January 1, 2025, merchant bankers must upload documents within 20 days of filing draft offer document with SEBI/exchanges, and within 20 days from listing date (reducing to 10 days from April 1, 2025 onwards). Documents shall be accessible only to respective merchant bankers, but available to SEBI for supervisory purposes. This enhances maintenance and access to due diligence records.
